Nothing is left to chance at the Sonnenhotel Adler – at least not when it comes to high-quality food. In the in-house bakery, patisserie and butchery, we focus on taste, regionality and home cooking. Bread, pasta, jams, cakes, sausages such as Kaminwurzen (gluten- and lactose-free), Schlutzkrapfen and dumplings of all kinds are made in-house. The meat comes from our organic free-range pigs and Scottish Highland cattle, which are kept on our Untertheimerhof by senior chef Franz Josef.

Sun-ripened herbs, fruits and vegetables grow and flourish in three gardens around the hotel, which are tended with great dedication by senior chef Rosa and senior chef Franz Josef. Various lettuces, courgettes, pumpkins and cabbages, strawberries, currants, plums, Alpine herbs such as basil, mint, rosemary, juniper and much more are grown here.
