Adler Naturspa

Our extended and newly designed wellness area Adler Naturspa with organic herbal sauna, Finnish spruce wood sauna, aroma steam bath, infrared health cabin, Kneipp pool, outdoor whirlpool and panoramic indoor pool is at your disposal. Pamper yourself with a relaxing massage with mountain pine oil from the Villandro alpine pasture or treat yourself to a soothing hay bath with valuable hay from the hotel's own alpine pasture. Alm (Villanderer Alm)

This second largest alpine pasture in Europe is also the high plateau with the most beautiful Dolomite panorama. Numerous hiking possibilities between 1,700 and 2,500 m above sea level await you (highest elevation: Villanderer Berg at 2,509 m). Also in winter the Villanderer Alm is a dreamlike hiking paradise: 30 km of groomed hiking trails and cross-country ski runs, wonderful natural toboggan runs - an Eldorado for snowshoe hikers. Sledges are provided free of charge by the hotel. On the Villanderer Alm we own an alpine hut (2,000 m), below the Totenkirchlein, where the animals of our own farm graze in summer. From mid-June to mid-October we organise a convivial barbecue party there once a week for our guests with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites opposite.

Abendessen

Wir servieren Ihnen ein abwechslungsreiches 5-Gänge-Menü, zubereitet von den Küchenchefs Tobias und Juniorchef Reinhold sowie ihrem kreativen Küchenteam. Ob auf der Terrasse oder im Restaurant: Sie werden mit hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten aus unserer hoteleigenen Bäckerei und Patisserie, aus der eigenen Metzgerei und Räucherkammer sowie mit erlesenen Weinen aus unserem Weinkeller verwöhnt. Zahlreiche Produkte stammen vom eigenen Bio-Bauernhof mit großem Gemüse- und Kräutergarten oder von heimischen Bauern und Produzenten. Für den Zeitraum Ihres Aufenthalts haben wir für das Frühstück und das Abendessen einen Tisch für Sie reserviert. Das Abendessen beginnt um 18:30 Uhr. Wir bitten Sie nicht später als 19:30 Uhr zu erscheinen.

An- und Abreise

Reserved rooms are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you are welcome to enjoy the room until 10:00 a.m. and our wellness area until 6:00 p.m.. This means: you vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. and then treat yourself to another beautiful day in our Adler-Naturspa and fortify yourself in the afternoon at the Vital Buffet. Elektrotankstelle

Both the Sonnenhotel Adler and the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof have an electric charging station with 22 kW charging power. You are welcome to charge your electric car at our hotel. Please contact the reception for this.

E-Mountainbike

Explore the surroundings with our new e-bikes, half day for only € 20,00 or the whole day for € 30,00. South Tyrol and the Valle Isarco is very suitable for cyclists and mountain bikers. The network of paths is excellently developed and offers routes with varying degrees of difficulty.

Einkaufen

You can do this in Villanders, in the artist town Klausen (4 km) or in Brixen, the oldest town in Tyrol (16 km). A trip to the provincial capital, Bolzano (27 km) or the spa town of Merano (60 km) is also worthwhile. The weekly markets are particularly popular: on Monday in Brixen, on Wednesday in Bruneck, on Friday in Meran and on Saturday in Bozen.

In the summer and autumn months we organise a barbecue party once a week at noon at our alpine hut on the Villanderer Alm (2,000 m) below the Totenkirchlein. We announce the barbecue the evening before to play it safe as far as possible when it comes to the weather.

Give joy - how about a voucher for your loved ones at home? We would be happy to issue you with an Adler voucher at your request.

Hallenbad

Our panoramic indoor pool with waterfall and counter-current system is open for you from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. You are also welcome to make private and exclusive use of the indoor pool late in the evening for € 25.00 per hour and person.

Handtücher

Decide yourself about the towel change in the room. If you want a fresh towel, just put the dirty one on the floor.

Hotelrechnung

You can settle your hotel bill the day before your departure. Simply ask at the reception desk. Payment can be made in cash, by ATM or credit card.

Hunde

Your four-legged friend is also very welcome. Together with you, they have access to the large sun terrace and the hotel bar area, and your dog is also a welcome guest in the Zirmstube. On request, we will be happy to prepare a table for you there, so that your faithful companion is also at your side during the meal and does not have to wait for you alone in the room. In Villanders there is a mining museum and an archeopark. The Pfunderer mine was once one of the most important in Tyrol. We also recommend the Messner Mountain Museums in Bruneck and Bozen, the Ötzi Museum in Bozen and the Touriseum in the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorf Castle near Meran. You can experience rural culture in the Dietenheim Folklore Museum, which was awarded one of the most beautiful open-air museums by the ADAC.

In the Sonnenhotel Adler as well as in the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof (300 m away) a small afternoon buffet is available free of charge from 13:30 to 16:00.

Guests ask us again and again how they should handle the tip. The tip is a great motivation for all employees, which goes into a common cash box. We believe that this leads to better team cohesion. If you would like to give a tip to the staff for good performance, we ask you to put it in the "piggy bank" provided for this purpose at reception. This collected money is distributed fairly among all staff at the end of each month.

Our regular hotel, the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof, is located about 300 m from the Sonnenhotel Adler. You are welcome to use the wellness area and the panoramic outdoor pool with sunbathing lawn there free of charge. The afternoon buffet is also available there free of charge from 13:30 to 16:00. Book one hotel and enjoy two :-)

Wandern

At the reception, you can obtain a wide variety of hiking maps of the surrounding area free of charge or on loan. Our reception team will be happy to provide you with information. You will also find various hiking books in our house library.

Wanderstöcke und Wanderrucksack

We'll equip you for the mountain: we'll gladly lend you a backpack, hiking poles and sun protection free of charge at the reception.

Do you have cold feet? We will be happy to provide you with a free hot water bottle at reception for a little more comfort during your stay.

Our water comes from the hotel's own mountain spring and is of high drinking water quality. It is rich in healing minerals and comes out of every tap in the house and you bathe in it in our pools.
