Hike to the hotel’s own alpine hut(2,000 m).
This is an easy and at the same time panoramic hike. From the hotel, take the car or the hiking bus to the Gasser Hütte (1,744 m). Departure of the hiking bus in the center of the village, in front of the Despar, at 09:03 and 09:55.
From the Gasser hut, take the trail no. 6 to the „Scheibenstock-Marterle“ and then always follow the Stations of the Cross in the direction of the chapel „am Toten“ (2,094 m). Below the chapel – after approx. 1.5 hours hike/ 4 km – you will find our hut on the right side (see picture). From approx. 12.00 o’clock junior chef Walter grills here for you homemade sausages and more. The meal is free of charge, only the drinks will be charged to your room.
The way back after the barbecue can also be done via the Gasteiger Sattel or via the Schwarzseen and then back to the Prackfiderer-Jöchl, No. 16. Total walking for the roundtrip 3 to 3.5 hours.
12:00 at the hut – so everyone can hike to the alp at their own pace. Guests can get to the starting point of the Gasser Hütte by their own car, with the hiking bus at 9:00 or 10:00 (return at 15:30 or 17:30) or with our hotel’s own alpine shuttle.
