Trail No. 12 leads from the village centre towards Missian | Eppan passing the gothic church tower of St. Pauls | Eppan along the way. Shortly before reaching Korb Castle there is a signpost for the“Three Castle Walking Tour” (Eppaner Burgenwanderweg), which the route now follows. Brushwood and beautiful views of the city of Bozen and the Dolomites enrich this pleasant hiking trail. After the short, slightly steep final climb, and after a total of two hours, the trail arrives at Hocheppan Castle,which is situated majestically on a mountain crag. The next part of the trail is somewhat more adventurous, but well signposted. Following a narrow, somewhat exposed path over porphyry rock you will then reach the Hocheppan valley gorge. Approximately 60 metres (200 ft) of secured metal steps will bring you to the other side of the gorge towards the ruins of Boymont Castle. After a short stretch in a southerly direction along the forest track (ignoring the branch to the right to Perdonig | Eppan), a signpost points downhill over loose rocks to a steep asphalt road. After a 10 minute ascent, you will arrive at the ruins of Boymont Castle which offer magnificent views. The return leg of the hike follows the little asphalt road downhill to the orchards and vineyards, where it rejoins the original path back to St. Pauls | Eppan. This hike becomes a slightly longer circular hike if you follow trail No. 8 / A from the ruins of Boymont Castle. This route will take you back to St. Pauls | Eppan the inn Kreuzstein.

Short variant: Start at Korb Castle and take the Castle Trail (Burgenwanderweg), continue as described above.

The Rottenburgerplatz car park is the starting point of the Caldaro Wine Trail. From here head right up Mendelstraße street, then turn left onto the Maria von Mörlweg. Follow this road until it ends, then turn left along the main road, then turn right and follow Europastraße street for a while and turn right onto the Barleiterweg. Follow the no. 12 markers on this trail to Kalterer See lake until arriving at the Barleiterhof farm. Continue following marker 12A to the S. Giuseppe al Lago/St. Josef am See district of Caldaro/Kaltern. Cross over the stream and continue down to the wine road. Turn left and walk along a portion of the main road until you reach a bus stop. Turn right here and follow the road down to the lake. At the car park, head left to the circular route along the lakeside (Seerundweg) on trail no. 3. Follow this trail past the Geier restaurant keeping to trail no. 3, which leads through vineyards back to the starting point in Caldaro. Alternatively, the Wine Trail can also be done by heading to the village of Pianizza di Sopra/Oberplanitzing.

Start is the Lago di Carezza Lake. From here it goes over the suspension bridge and then until the grain mill (1556m) and along the path n. 6 past the Meierei Inn and the Ladritscher Hof farm and then along path n.3 until the monument to the Empress Elisabeht (1566m). After a stop there return to the crossing path n. 6 and continue for the Malga Heinzen Alm. From there take the path n.16 to the Moseralm hotel and go back on path n. 6 crossing the suspension bridge until the Lago di Carezza lake.

Alternative: From the Elisabeth Monument (1566m) via path no. 3 and path no. 3A to Nova Levante/Welschnofen.

Start is at Nova Levante/Welschnofen cable car parking lot- ascent with the Laurin I cable car to the Frommer Alm hut. From here, you hike along path [1A], an easy hiking path to the Ochsenhütte hut, from where you have a wonderful view of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten on the sun terrace, while homemade specialities invite you to enjoy them. Continue on path [1A] across colorful mountain meadows to the junction with path [9], which leads to the highlight panorama point, “The Kaiserstein”. From here, enjoy the magnificent view of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten and pause for a moment. Return via path [9] to the car park. Cross the street Via Nigra here and continue on path [9] to the Hotel Moseralm. The Tschein chairlift takes you comfortably up to the Monte Coronella/Tscheinberg. From here, you can take the new König Laurin I cable car and then the Laurin I cable car back to the starting point.

The hike begins at the car park of the Paolina valley station in Carezza/Karersee (1,630 m). Head through the holiday village to the Nigerstraße road and continue to the Kaiserstein viewpoint. Follow trail [1A] above the Nigerstraße road past the Ochsenhütte mountain hut, Tscheiner Hütte mountain hut and the Frommeralm tavern to the Nigerpass. Turn left on trail [1], following the signs to the Schillerhof Alpine farm. Then return to the junction with path [4A] leading to the Hagneralm and on to Nova Levante. It is also possible to hike the trail the other way round!

Alternative for return: from the Schillerhof Alpine farm continue on trail [1] until the wolf pit an d than on trial [5] back to Nova Levante.
