I took over the farm from my uncle Josef in 2010 and have gradually converted the farm to fruit and wine growing. I am a trained butcher and therefore no longer process milk, but meat products, such as fresh meat packages, sausages, Kaminwurzen and bacon. The honorary office is a passion of mine and therefore I am also active in some associations, like the voluntary fire department Schenna and the Volksbühne Schenna. In addition, I am chairman of the Lower Schenner Alm (Gostalm), vice chairman of the Schenner Bauernbund and since 2020 also a member of the local council of Schenna. On the farm you can usually see me working with an agricultural machine. Although there is always a lot to do on the farm, I always take time for our guests and gladly clarify arising questions about agriculture, fruit and viticulture or anything else.

I have been living at Prünsterhof since the beginning of 2018. Since my paternal and maternal grandparents own a farm, I already knew beforehand how labor-intensive life on the farm will be, but still versatile and exciting, it never gets boring. I love to process our products, to preserve fruits, vegetables and meat and to draw from them throughout the year. I like to attend further training courses for this, if time permits. I studied economics and management at the Free University of Bolzano after five years of secondary school and then worked as a cashier and later as an accountant for the Merano 2000 cable cars. Since our son Clemens was born, I am only active on the farm and am responsible for the vacation apartments and the guests and for everything that is connected with it: from online marketing and website design, to direct marketing of our products, accounting and guest services, as well as cleaning our vacation apartments, I can develop in every area.

We have two children, Clemens (4 years) and Ines (2 years). In addition to the care in the kindergarten and at the childminder, they like to play in the garden or are out and about with Grandma Anni. The highlight for Clemens is, of course, when he gets to ride along with Dad on the tractor.

Kimba is our farm dog. She was born in October 2016 and has lived with Hannes on the farm since she was two months old. She is a shepherd mix and was brought to South Tyrol as a street dog in Abbruzzo. Kimba has a very patient and calm personality and also has no problems with other dogs, on the contrary, she is always happy when she has someone new to play with.
