A winter dream is waiting for the visitors at the magic lake Carezza in Val d’Ega – just 20 minutes from Bolzano – a small Christmas market surrounded by the wonderful lake of Carezza and the two mountains Rosengarten and Latemar, which belongs to the unique Dolomites. On the Christmas market our guests will find wooden huts looking  like oversized lanterns, typical South Tyrolean products and crafts, fabulous snow and ice sculptures as well as a life-size nativity scene and various wood stoves. Enjoy a winter walk around the lake and relish the amazing winter wonderland accompanied by customs and traditions of South Tyrol.

Nestling around the splendid cathedral, encircled by proud, centuries old buildings, visitors are met by acolourful world of tempting scents and unique flavours. The traditional Christmas market of Brixen invites the visitors to taste numerous specialities of Brixen- Bressanone and the region.

The shops in the city centre of Brixen will be open also on weekends for your Christmas shopping.

Take the time to look, marvel and enjoy this unique Christmas market, which is one of the most beautiful original Christmas markets of South Tyrol. The magic of Christmas will fascinate old and young.

This years highlight – the light music show 

The light and music show “Soliman’s Dream” returns to Brixen by popular demand and takes its guests on a journey through a magical dream world. From 22 November, Soliman will again be a guest at the Hofburg in Brixen/Bressanone for over 44 days. Guests will then learn more about the history and see the best of the adventures of the elephant of Brixen.

Let yourself be enchanted by the 25-minute unique light and music spectacle and enjoy an evening of a very special kind!!

The Culten Museum makes the perfect setting for this Christmas market with a difference. In an old farmhouse dating back 14th century, in which Culten Museum is housed, producers at the Zuanochten farmers market present their Christmas products to visitors. In the spacious outdoor area, visitors are presented with a wide choice of local gastronomic delights and one can sit and enjoy the magical atmosphere in the underground section of the museum.

Cozy, well almost contemplative – that’s the best way to describe the ambience at Renon’s Christmas Market, the Christmas Train Market (“Christbahnl”). The snow falls softly from the sky, Christmas carols gently jingle across the square and a fragrance of freshly baked goodies fills the winter air.

Bolzano Christmas Market ─ The magic atmosphere of the festive decorations on the white tree, the nativity, the advent crown, the scented cakes and confectionery made week after week by the expert hands of those who keep their secret recipes and tricks. This awaited event is aimed at rediscovering the traditions that, in Alto Adige, are hidden behind the four weeks of the Advent, in anticipation of the most beautiful festival of the year that evolves through rituals and traditions lost in the dark ages.

The Christmas market of Algund is a meeting place for friends of a very special atmosphere.

Decorated sales stands offer original, large and small gifts, but also small souvenirs. Hot steamed drinks, traditional treats, fragrant Christmas biscuits and homemade specialties invite you to linger.

Gastronomic stands offer hot-steaming drinks and hot dishes. In addition one gastronomic stand offers South Tyrolean specialties.

Highlight: 
A lovely little christmas train runs every hour for free from the center of Meran to the very heart of the Christmas market of Algund.

The children’s ares “Outdoor Kids Camp” is located directly at the summit sation of the Falzeben cable car and the Meran 2000 funicular.

Flat and wide slopes, moving carpets and a small toboggan slope support little skiers an beginners in their first experiences on the snow.
