During our individually designed farm tours we offer our guests an insight into our daily work with the animals or in the meadow with the apples and grapes. Farmer Hannes is happy to explain the daily challenges that have to be mastered and answer your questions. Although Hannes is always on the road, he likes to take the time to chat with the guests. In the stable live at the moment our cattle, which are in the summer from June to September on the Alm, the Walliser black nose sheep, pigs, goats and our ponies Melti and Peterle.

A car-free vacation? You can have that with us. Because directly in front of our front door you can already start your hike, whether a first run-in or a morning walk on the Schenner Waalweg or directly up to the Schennaberg, from where numerous hikes of different difficulty levels are offered. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can take the Taser cable car or the Verdins cable car. And those who want to have a shopping day can take the bus to the center of Schenna or from there continue to Merano or go for a walk.

After an eventful day you can relax in the indoor swimming pool or in the sauna in the Pension Hahnenkamm opposite. You can find more information under the menu item “Good to know”.

We are here 365 days a year for our guests, because every season has its special features. Whether it is the apple blossom and the flowing Waalwege in and around Merano in spring, the great weather and the numerous events in summer, the so-called “Golden Autumn” with the apple harvest and grape harvest or the magical winter, with the idyllic Christmas markets that draw out a very special atmosphere or the quiet time after New Year’s Eve to simply relax and recharge your batteries.
