The Partschinser Waalweg is derived from the Zielbach stream and crosses the mountainside above Partschins. Turn right at the hamlet of Salten and walk along the romantic Waalweg to Vertigen, the eastern part of Parcines, where the Waal ends. Through the light tree population, one can enjoy the wonderful view of Meran and its surroundings, the sound of the water has a calming effect. Descent from Vertigen to the centre of Parcines on path 7A (walking time approx. 0. 20 h). Since the Waalweg ends after 2 km, we recommend a circular walk from the Texelbahn valley station. From there, the path climbs slightly to the Winklerhof and continues on path no. 1 along the Zielbach stream to Salten, where the Waalweg begins. From the centre of Parcines, the route leads into Sonnenbergstraße, continues through orchards over the suspension bridge to Winklerhof and down to the nearby Texelbahn. Walking time for the whole Waalrunde: approx. two hours.

From the centre of Parcines, past the old pink-coloured Spauregg Castle (sequoia tree) and magnificent flower gardens, continue on the Römerstraße on a slight incline to the junction of trail 10B. Follow this, cross the Töllgraben and turn right shortly before the Saxnerhof farm. Slightly descend on trail no. 7 to the junction on the left with trail no. 21B. This runs through an enchanting forest until you reach the road. Cross the road and enter the Schlundensteinweg trail no. 21. Continue slightly downhill past the Schlundenstein (large rock) and small rock cave (great for kids!). At the next junction take trail no. 25A to the Café Konrad. Follow the Algunder Waalweg (irrigation path of Lagundo)  and then turn left onto the Ochsentodweg trail. Follow trail no. 29 past Thurnstein Castle and the parish church of St. Peter until you reach your destination, Castel Tirolo/Schloß Tirol.

Start out at the west side of Rabland (525 m) on a narrow street between the houses and orchards, the route leads to the western end of the old irrigation canal close to the Happichl inn. From there, walk along a flat stretch along the irrigation canal for about 30 mins until the path ends. The trail turns sharp right and a narrow track leads back to Rabland/Rablà in just 20 mins.

The way leads from the centre of Partschins/Parcines to the Winklerhof farm/inn. From there, continue westwards along the Panoramic Trail n° 91 to Naturns/Naturno. The path runs almost level, and reveals itself as a true panoramic route. It rises briefly from the village where you can visit the famous ancient church of St. Proculus and its museum. Bus n° 266 as well as the Venosta Valley Railway lead back to Rablà/Parcines.
