Fascinating hike on the High Alpine Trail of Schlinig/ Slingia to Uina Gorge, unique 900 m long high route cut into the rock in 1908-1910.
Details

The hike starts from the valley station Watles with the chairlift up to the mountain station. Continue on the Schlinigtal valley high mountain trail no. 8A and no. 8, which leads to the refuge Sesvennahütte (2,256 m). From there continue on trail no. 18 in the direction to the Schlinigpass (2,309 m) and the Swiss border (2,295 m) down to the Uina gorge. From the refuge Sesvennahütte the hike into the gorge takes about 1 hour.Take the same way back to the reguge and from there take trail no. 1 to Schlinigeralm alpine pasture and the village Schlinig/ Slingia. Take the hiking taxi back to Prämajur. Refreshments: Plantapatschhütte hut, Schlinigeralm alpine pasture, AVS refuge Sesvennahütte with overnight accommodation, restaurants in Prämajur and Schlinig/ Slingia
