It takes just 8 minutes to get up to the top station of the San VigilioCable Car (1,486 m) from Lana. Trail No. 1 – better known as theQuellenweg – leads past vigilius mountain resort and onto the junctionwith Trail No. 34A. Carry on along this path until you meet Trail No.34B, which eventually brings you directly to the Malga Bagno dell’Orso,where hikers can stop for a bite to eat. Continue on Trail No. 2, whichleads to Trail No. 9 and carries on to the San Vigilio Church andRestaurant Jocher below it. From there, take Trail No. 4 to RestaurantSeggiovia at the top station of the chairlift. From here you can visit abeautiful outlook point by following Trail No. 8. Go back to the topstation of the cable car on foot or take it easy, and ride down on thechairlift.

Getting to San VigilioBY BUS AND TRAINThe Lana bus station lies in close proximityto the valley station of the cable car. It is wellconnected to public transport, with good connectionsto the stations at Marlengo, Meranoand Lana/Postal.BY CARTake the Merano-Bolzano (MEBO) expressway, exit atMerano Sud and drive towards Lana. The entrance to thevalley station of the San Vigilio Cable Car is 100 m further,on the right.
