Description
A pleasant meadow hike on the mountains of Laion, with beautiful views. Especially recommended in spring or autumn. The Poststeig trail on the return route is a historical connecting path, its origins go back hundreds of years.

From the village center of Laion (1,102m) follow the road in the direction of S. Pietro to the fork leading to Fraina – S. Pietro. There the Mitterweg trail (sign with flower symbol) forks right at Dorfgasser alley and then continues eastward as meadow trail on the slope below the main street. You cross several small woods with river trenches (small Kneipp facility) and ascending slightly you will reach the small hamlet of Tanurza (1,187m) At the fork in the road east of the village, trail no. 34a ascends and joins Poststeig trail. The walk now leads, descending slightly, westward through fields to Ceves (1,212m; refreshments served), then continuing downwards the field path leads to Laion.
