The hike starts at Langfenn. The Romanesque church of St. Jacob on the Langfenn, which lies on the highest point of the plateau Salten (1525m), visible from afar, is worth a visit. It stands on prehistoric ground and could probably tell a lot of exciting and historic stories from past years. From there a varied hiking trail leads us through the forests of the Tschögglberg to the alp Leadner Alm. You can enjoy a beautiful panorama on this route. The surroundings vary between forest and meadows and there is something new to discover for everyone.

From the parking lot Schermoos the way nr. 1 then the way nr. 38  to the Leadner Alm

Approach
If you come by car from Brennero, take the motorway A22 until the exit “Bozen Süd”. Here you can take the highway MeBo in direction to Merano (SS38) until you reach the exit of Terlano. At Terlano begins the mountain road to Mölten. You can also take the MEBO exit of Vilpiano and take the cable car to Schlaneid / Mölten.
