Haashof-Tour
Scena, Merano & Surroundings
Description
This is a relatively demanding tour. After leaving the tarred road, the route follows a sometimes bad and on longer distances also steep forest path. This well-known mountain bike route runs for the most part through a quiet and in the summer relatively cool landscape.
Details

From the parking lot head back toward Merano. At the intersection, turn left (sign Taser). Continue steeply up for approximately 50 meters to a fork in the road, then turn left (always in the direction of Taser). Carry on upward to the valley station of the cable car and continue on the narrow, tarred road. At the next fork in the road (left to Verdins), keep right.

This is a steep uphill trek, proceeding past a farm to a turn. Continue straight on. Here the forest road begins to Videgg. Follow the natural road to the impressive Masulschlucht and cross the Sagbach stream. Immediately afterward there will be a fork in the road (on the right is the Streitweider Alm). Keep left and travel to Masulbach, a stream which needs to be crossed. Then there is a steep, upward section leading to the Haashof in the hamlet Videgg.

Approach

Drive to Schenna. Carry on past the bottleneck and continue straight at the next fork in the road (signed Taser), then turn right to the parking lot at the fire department.
