The trail starts from Plata/Platten above Falzes/Pfalzen. From the car park, follow the signs 66 A and the indication “Sambock”, partly on trails and forest path, sometimes quite steep, sometimes slightly ascending. It continues through the forest and passes a hunters’ hut, afterwards up on mountain pastures to the flat summit “Auf den Platten” (2175 m). Continuing northward on the wide grassy ridge, you achieve the summit. Descent in 2 hours on the same way described for ascent. For experts: following the marking points on the north ridge, some places are exposed (at one exposed point is a wire cable), you get to a dip (2365 m); then turn left towards the small lakes of Plata, the hut “Plattner Alm” and then down to the starting point.
