Kitchen Team

For over twenty years, chef Hermann Goller has offered his guests moments of extreme pleasure. With his creative dishes he accompanies you on a delicious journey through traditional South Tyrolean cuisine, a real tasting experience. One “must” in his kitchen: the preservation of the true taste of the products, which must be genuine, pure, and intense.

For this reason, vegetables, herbs, berries and fruit come directly from the hotel garden.

The perfect wine: an essential element for a dinner that will remain in your most pleasant memories. The correct glass completes the experience in taste. This is why we at Gasserhof celebrate the love for the most outstanding red wines and we offer you the opportunity to embark on a sensorial journey through the South Tyrolean wine world. MORITZ ALWAYS KNOWS WHICH WINE TO RECOMMEND

When I was 15, I actually wanted to be a patissier. However, I soon realised that my heart beats for service. So I trained as a service specialist, and today, after more than 10 years, I am convinced that this training was a game-changer.

At the beginning of my career, it was all about gaining experience, of course, and in the first years of my journey I stopped off in Passeier, Dorf Tirol, Gröden, and St. Moritz before embarking on the great adventure of Australia, which was key in shaping my passion for wine.

Back in Europe, I trained as a sommelier. In the following seven years, I advanced from service employee to food & beverage director. This allowed me to build up a large network, through which I ultimately ended up at the Gasserhof.

Today, I am considered the Goller family’s right hand. Together with my team, I carry on the hotel’s mission to give guests moments of pure pleasure and well-being, as well as to guide them in choosing the right wine.
