The starting point of the circular walk is at the parish church of Klausen (512 m). Cross the bridge over the Eisack river and reach Andreasplatz square, where the trail (marked no. 5) leads to a railway subway and climbs to the “Dürerstein”. After crossing the main road to Val Gardena, the trail continues on good paths (always marked no. 5) through woods and over steeper meadow slopes until you reach the small village of Albions (890 m). Here, the original village appearance and the church, which is well worth seeing, invite you to linger. From Albions you hike (trail no. 10) on a gentle slope into the Löchlbachgraben and from there climb up to the Ansitz Fonteklaus (refreshment stop).
Via the asphalted access road, you descend somewhat steeply to trail no. 4 and take a sharp right turn into the Zickerbachgraben. The trail leads through the forest to Gufidaun. A tour of the historic village centre is recommended. The descent to Klausen is via trail no. 7. First you follow the country road for a while until you descend at a bend into a wood and shortly afterwards reach the motorway bridge. The trail runs under the bridge and then to the starting point in Klausen.
