The pilgrimage site to the Latzfonser Kreuz and the Kassianspitze are extremely rewarding tour destinations with great views. Drive to the car park at the Gasser Hütte. From here walk on trail no. 6 – then continue on trail no. 1 A. in about 1.5 hours you will reach the Stöfflhütte (2,057 m – inn). Continue via the Latzfonser Alm in approx. 1.5 hours to the highest place of pilgrimage in Europe (inn available). From here you can reach the Kassianspitze in about 50 minutes on trail no. 7.
