From the car park below the hamlet of Bergl, first follow the forest road for a few metres and then the marked summer trail through the forest to the Untere Gewingesalm and continue to the right to the Obere Gewingesalm, from where the summit cross is already clearly visible. From the alpine pasture, not too steeply, straight up to a knoll and then keep left towards the steep slope of the Zunderspitze. Follow the ridge up to the summit cross.
