The tour starts at the car park next to Schneeberg, where the forest road nr. 5 begins. This road leads us directly to the Pertinger Hut (refreshments available). Thereafter, we continue walking in the northernly direction.

The path leads us beyond the timber-line, mainly over the back of the mountain, to the peak (On the Joch 2405m). A spectacular and unique panoramic view awaits You at the peak: The mountain Haunold in the east, the Three Peaks, the Mount Cristallo, The Hohe Gaisl, to the mountains of Fanes and Sennes, the Sella Stock, the Puez Geisler Group, the Sass de Putia, and in the South-West Schlern/Sciliar. The north is dominated by the Zillertal Alps and the north-east by the Dureck- and the Rieserfernergruppe mountains.
