An old circulal hiking trail along the torrent “Schwarzenbach” reachs the breathtaking waterfall of Ora. It offers an overwhelming spectacle of nature. The waterfall rushes 120m into depth and gives a wonderful view over the South Tyrolean lowlands even to the lake of Caldaro. Part of the hiking trail is also the so called “Katzenleiter”, which is a stone- staircase consisting of 540 steps carved into the rock. If you climb all the stairs upwards, you can reach, after a two-hour hike, the tavern Brückenwirt in the village Montan.
