A notable baroque residence from the beginning of the 18th century, Palazzo Longo has a simple facade characterized by a semi-circular arched entrance which is eached by twin flights of steps. The frieze of the stone doorframe features two putti and a female bust. The interior of the palace has been richly decorated with high relief in stucco – works by Franz Hannibal Bittner – and frescoes by Giacomo Antonio Delai, two skillful artists active in the Bolzano area from 1730 onward. The residence also boasts a magnificent park extending uo to the forest behind town.
