Kaltern counts many different places that are especially reserved for children to play. The walking and bicycle path towards Appiano and Bolzano has many different attractions for the little ones. Slides and swings, but also sandboxes and climbing frames where to play and have fun.

Approach

The playgrounds that are located along the cycling path can be reached whether from Via delle Cantine (large parking area available) or from Appiano, Crocevia.

By car: coming from Bolzano, follow the wine road until reaching Kaltern. At the first roundabout take the third exit and turn left. The large parking area is at your disposal for free (exception made for market days).

By public transportation: regular bus connections from Bolzano and Termeno to the bus stop “Caldaro stazione”. For further information also visit the webpage www.sii.bz.it
