The tour starts at the car park next to the Glieshöfe (1,824 m) and goes 20 m out of the valley; then turn right on a forestry trail. After about half an hour’s walk, the Matscheralm Alpine Pasture can already be seen on the left side. The last hundred meters are a bit steep, but once arrived you can enjoy the panorama of the mountains and there is a chance to spot some wildlife.For the return follow the same trail.
