The best entrance for the path to Hotel Gerstras and the viewpoint “belvedere” is at the bottom station of the Lazaun cable car in Maso Corto/Kurzras. Continue towards the sparse forest, crossing through the sun-kissed meadows below the Wieshof farm. Just about at the level of the farmstead Marchegghof opposite, a signpost indicates the viewing point “belvedere”, where there is a wonderful view down into the valley. Back on the trail again, the path leads directly past the Hotel Gerstras (possibility to stop). The way back ist he same route.
