The working Liegalm Alpine farm can be reached via two different trails, offering both families and serious hikers a day full of adventure.
For more experienced hikers, the hike begins near the Schwarzenbach and the Ganischgerhof hotels. Follow the markers along trail 9A to the Bayerlsäge sawmill, where trail no. 9 leads to the Liegalm Alpine farm (1,750 m), which is managed and offers delicious local specialities. The return route is also via trail no. 9, which leads back to the car park. For families, the hike begins at the Lavazé Pass and trail no. 9 takes you straight to the Liegalm Alpine farm in one hour. The return trip is also via trail no. 9 to the Lavazé Pass. This hike is particularly well suited to children and families. The Alpine farm has a small petting zoo and a nice play area for children.
