Starting from Antholz Niedertal. At the church turn left (or after the village centre) and walk following the edge of the forest towards the Maierhöfe (Pfaffingerhof). The steep path leads to the Grentealm hut – Mark n. 6

From Antholz Mittertal walk towards the sawmill Ausserweger, there turn right and follow the path n. 6 which leads you on an forest road to the Ammererhöfe. At the junction a rather steep path leads to the Grentealm hut – Mark n. 6a

From this farm you can enjoy the beautiful view on the Antholzertal / Valle Anterselva Valley, the mountain chain of the Gsieser Tal Valley and the Dolomites.

Descent to Antholz Mittertal on the path n. 6 on the left. Very rewarding also the climb to the cross Grente 2.250m. In this case you can descend on the path n. 6b to the Ochsenalm. From the Grentealm hut the path n. 6a turns off to the Kumpflalm hut.
