From the upper parking lot in Obereggen proceed along the Almweg Trail [9] until you come to the Reiterjoch. Here, turn right and go downwards on Trail [9] to the Lavazè Pass. From the Lavazè Pass, continue along Trail [11] via the Stücker Woods to Grosswiese (large meadow) and then on to Obereggen.
On the Brenner (A 22 Brenner autobahn – toll), take the Bozen Nord/Eggental (Eggen Valley) autobahn exit and proceed approx. 0.5 km towards Bozen/Bolzano. At the roundabout, turn left into the Eggen Valley (SS 241). Continue along the Dolomites Road until you come to Birchabruck. There, turn right and proceed to Obereggen (30 minutes from the Bozen Nord/Eggental autobahn exit).
