The starting point of this hike high above Merano is the mountain station of the Schennaberg-Taser cable car. From here the route descends steeply to Scena. Initially following access road no. 20, the trail heads to the Schnuggerhof farm and then continues along the shady forest track to the Zmailerhof farm. The Höfeweg trail winds through forests and meadows down to the Rastlhof and eventually leads back to Scena.
