Details

Starting from the church of San Genesio in the centre of La Val, proceed in the direction of Cians turning left and passing the fire station. At the first hairpin bend starts the “Memento Vivere” route, which after a short stretch on an asphalt road continues on a dirt track and crosses the Bosch da Crosta larch wood to finish at the magnificent little church of Santa Barbara.

Approach

*By car

  • Coming from Innsbruck: take the A13 and the A22 toll motorway and exit at Bressanone/Brixen, following the signs to Brunico/Bruneck along the Val Pusteria/Pustertal road as far as San Lorenzo/St. Lorenzen. Follow the signs to Val Badia/Gadertal 
  • Coming from Verona-Bolzano: take the A22, exit at Bressanone/Brixen and continue as above
