From Kastelruth village square, the road leads out over Via Bühl following signpost no. 10, until you get to Föstl Bach River. The village of Tisens is situated in an exceptionally sunny spot with views over the Santner, the Puflatsch and the spikes of the Rosszähne.

From Tisana, the walk now proceeds to the village of Tagusens, with its scattered farmyards, small village centre and Roman church. Trail no. 2A leads through meadows and woods to the Tamineshof farm and on to the Sabina mountain restaurant. Then past the old Maso Lafogler Hof farm to the Bremicher Platzl.
