Meltina is embedded in mountain meadows and oriented towards the sun and the mountain Tschögglberg. The hike promise a very beautiful panorama. The way from Meltina to Verano are simple to go. You can stop at “St. Ulrich” and “Bacherhof”

From the Salonetto cable car, follow trail no. 1 to Meltina. Continue on trail no. 13, past the Wargerhof, and then continue on trail no. 15 to St. Ulrich. From St. Ulrich follow path no. 15 B to the Hohlweg crossroads, then briefly follow the main road towards Verano and then turn left onto path no. 13, past the Langwies and Bacherhof farms to Verano. Walking time approx. 3 hours

Approach
If you come by car from Brennero, take the motorway A22 until the exit “Bolzano Sud”. Here you can take the highway MeBo in direction to Merano (SS38) until you reach the exit of Terlano. At Terlano begins the mountain road to Meltina. You can also take the MEBO exit of Vilpiano and take the cable car to Salonetto/Meltina.
