From the Perlkraling to the “Gfrillner Laugenalm”
Tesimo - Prissiano, Merano & Surroundings
Description
Moderately difficult hike to the idyllic “Gfrillner Laugenalm” with wonderful views.
Details

Take the car from Tesimo towards the Passo Palade/Gampen Pass. After the tunnel and a wide bend, begin in the small car park near “Perlkraling” on the right-hand side of the road. From here take the forest road walking straight ahead first following the signs for trail 11 and then 11A in a northerly direction. Next following trail no. 10 head left and soon left again – the path is initially steep, then more moderate – for 1 3/4 hrs via the Innerberg (1748 m) with wonderful views of the Gfrillner Laugenalm. The best way back is the same way that you came, or take the very steep, stony but shorter forest track (trail no. 10A) from the alm which brings you back down to the starting point in approx. 45 min. Alternatively you could also take the new trail 10B which runs a little below the Gfrillner Laugenalm to the south. This trail, which merges with trail no. 133, brings you to the Passo delle Palade in around 50 minutes. From here take the pass road, which will bring you back to your car in approx. 30 minutes on foot, or take bus 246 from Passo Palade to the next stop “Perlkraling” approx. 100 m before the car park. From the Gfrillner Laugenalm it is also possible to extend your walk by approx. 1 hour along trail no. 10 to Lago Monte Luco/Laugensee lake, a rewarding and highly recommended destination (360 m of elevation gain).
