Hiking at the foot of the Rosengarten, a panoramic view of the Latemar, green meadows and sunshine… This fairly challenging hike leads from St. Zyprian to the Mesnnerjoch hut, passing a number of traditional mountain huts and ticking every single box along the way. Hiking at its absolute best. 

Details

The hike starts in St. Zyprian at the Cyprianerhof. From there the path number 10 leads over the Plafötsch Alm to the “Angelwiesen” – a big meadow. Then path number 7 leads to the Baumannschwaige. Pass the hut and take path no. 15 to the Messnerjoch alpine hut, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Rosengarten and Latemar. The way back leads over the way there.

Approach

To get here take bus 176 to Tires and then bus 185 to the Hotel Zyprianerhof bus stop, where the hike begins.

Alternatively, parking facilities are available at the Hotel Zyprianerhof.
