Summer and winter alike, the Oberbachernspitze is a popular touring destination for both guests and locals. Besides the 360° view, the view of the Zwölferkofel/ Croda dei Toni, the highest peak of the Sesto sundial, is particularly impressive.

Route:From the parking slot we take the trail to Talschlusshütte/ Rifugio Fondo valle and from there on the Bacherntal (attention to possible avalanche danger) to the level of Zsigmondyhütte/ Rifugio Comici. It follows from the south-facing slopes here and rises above the steep summit slope on the Oberbachernspitze.
