Details

Take the forest road leading towards the Untere Gostalm mountain hut (1,856 m). Just before the hut, keep right at the bridge and then climb through a sparse forest. Soon after there’s a wide flat section and then the wide bends lead to a junction from which there’s the last steep climb. Follow the trail from Racines/Ratschings, across the ridge then descend to the right, before climbing the last stretch up to the nearby summit.

Descent: Same as ascent, with beautiful wide slopes for skiing down into the valley.

From Merano / Meran to the Passeier Valley in direction of Passo Rombo and Moso / Moos until the bridge ponte Monteneve.
