At St. Ulrich you will find a small romanesque church and a great panoramic view on the surrounding mountains is waiting for you. The church St. Ulrich was restored in 1859 and the altar picture of the Saint Bishop Ulrich was made by the painter Psenner from Ums. 

Also in the guesthouse St. Ulrich wich lies directly by the church, you will find a stunning view, relaxation, good and typical food and a playground for the little ones.

 

 

 

 

Details

The hike starts by the funicular at Salonetto, where you take the hiking trail no. 15. In aproximately 1,5 hours you will arive at St. Ulrich. On your way back you can return on the trail to Plun or you continue the the road of St. Ulrich and take then street no. 1 to return to Salonetto.

Approach
If you come by car from Brennero, take the motorway A22 until the exit “Bozen Süd”. Here you can take the highway MeBo in direction to Merano (SS38) until you reach the exit of Terlano. At Terlano begins the mountain road to Mölten. You can also take the MEBO exit of Vilpiano and take the cable car to Schlaneid / Mölten.
