Starting from Lago di Carezza (lake) (1,549 m), this snowshoe hike leads via the Templweg trail [8] through the Karerwald forest. Just before the Bewallerhof hotel turn left onto path Samweg [S] that leads to the Häusler Sam tavern and the Flecker Sam (1,552 m) hut. Return on the same path.
Take highway’s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left and continue to Nova Levante and Lago di Carezza (about 20 min. from highway toll booth).
