You start in the centre of Laives/Leifers (intersection Via Kennedy and Via Pietralba) and turn towards Via Stazione. Immediately after the fire brigade, a footpath begins on the left along the moat towards the south. Walk straight ahead along Via Vadena until you reach the railway underpass. Pass the fruit magazine and take the first turning on the right and turn onto the path that follows the Etsch/Adige river to return in direction Laives/Leifers. After a few kilometres along the river, cross the motorway over the bridge and you will arrive at the Leifer/Laives train station. From here you can walk back on the sidewalk to the centre of Leifers/Laives.

If you walk on 200 m from the fruit magazine, you will reach the refreshment station “Zur Brücke – Al Ponte”.
