It is a popular motif for photo-shoots, but also for cooling down hikers with its pleasantly soothing mist, as well as having a welcome therapeutic effect for the respiratory tract and lungs.

From the valley station of the Texelbahn cableway take trail n° 1 to the Winklerhof farm/inn and continue to Salten. There you cross the asphalted waterfall road and follow trail n° 1 to the Birkenwald inn (950 m a.s.l.). Crossing the road again, head uphill on trail n° 23 through a deciduous forest to the impressive Partschins waterfall with a drop of 97 m (1,060 m). At the Wasserfall inn, a footbridge leads to the viewing pulpit. Return: the same route

Parking of camper vans available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Public TransportFrom Merano: with the Venosta Valley Railway or bus 251 to Rablà and from there, take bus 265 to the Texelbahn cableway.From Venosta Valley: with the Venosta Valley Railway or bus 251 to Rablà, and from there, take bus number 265 to the Texelbahn cableway.
