The Stoaner Mandl Panoramic Circular Walk begins at the Jochtal cable car mountain station (refreshments available). The cable car runs in summer from the end of May to mid-October. The very well signposted route takes you on trail no. 11 towards the Ochsenboden (refreshments available), then left on trail no. 1A to the top of the Stoaner Mandl at 2,117 m, with a panoramic viewpoint. Continue along past the Hubertus Stöckl as far as trail no. 1B. Continue on this trail past the Jagdhütte mountain hut, crossing several Alpine meadows where there are wooden gates to open and close, until you reach the service road no. 9. Go left on trail no. 9 as far as the Anratterhütte mountain hut (refreshments available) and the Linderalm Alpine farm (refreshments available) and then back to the Jochtal cable car mountain station. There are several places to stop for refreshments and the delicious South Tyrolean specialities always taste best on a sunny terrace. Make sure you allow enough time on the Stoaner Mandl to admire the 360° view.
