Description
The starting point is on the Merano High Trail following route n° 24, reachable in 5 minutes using the Texelbahn cableway. In good weather, the Ornknott peak has a wonderful of the entire Adige valley with the Dolomites in the distance.

The trail to the Orenknott begins at the scenic Texelbahn cableway mountain station. The trail up route n° 2 leads to the Zielspitz summit. After a while, route n° 25A branches off to the left, leading up to the Orenknott summit. On the way down on route n° 25, you pass the Orenalm (private), passing the Hochforchhof farm. Hikers take route n° 24 back to the Texelbahn cableway mountain station.

ParkingTexelbahn Cableway valley station, in Zielstraße road, Rablà/RablandAll-day parking, in the designated parking lot. Parking for campers only between 7.00 am – 7.00 pm.
