Two partly sharp rises, two lakes, in that a tower, including a wonderful side valley panorama

From the train station in Mals it goes upwards. First towards the historic centre with the Fröhlichsturm and village centre, then via Puniweg northwards on the bike path Mals-Burgeis. We cross the lower Mals Heath and follow the bike path on the beautiful slope along the western side of the lake Haidersee, which is sparkling in the sunlight, until St.Valentin. Passing the valley station of the Haideralm cableway and on the left to Vallatsch and Außerkaschon towards the lake Reschensee. On the narrow asphalt road above the old street of Schöneben it goes on mostly upwards in the wood to the summit station of Schöneben and the Skihaus Schöneben (2,100 m). Getting out of the wood appears a great panorama of the mountain landscape. The old asphalt road is quietly sharp and due to small stones also very slick. Attention downhill!

Downwards via Rojen to the Reschensee along until Graun to the famous tower. From here can be reached the Langtauferertal to Melag (1,900 m). Via Graun – St. Valentin – Fischerhäuser – Alsack – Ulten it goes along the main road, bike path and the old country road with view towards Ortler back to Mals.
