Mountain bike round trip (number 269) with gorgeous panoramic view to the Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut.
Details

From the parking place above the Grüner Baum Inn and Das Stübele Restaurant take the forest trail no. 16 to Leadner Alm Mountain Hut and left from there to Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut (1,875 m).

From the Vöraner Alm Alp Inn the way no. 2 descents to Wurzer Alm Mountain Hut (1707 m). Then continuing along the trails no. 2A and 11, both of which run through the forest, to Leadner Alm Mountain Hut and then back to the starting point in Vöran/Verano.

Variant: From the Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut return the same way to reach the starting point.

Approach

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano – Bolzano/Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo, follow the street to Vöran/Verano – the parking place is located above Grüner Baum Restaurant and Das Stübele Restaurant.
