This trail runs smoothly on a forest road through forests and meadows. This makes the hike also accessible for baby carriages. At Frassineto you have the possibility to have a rest, to stop at one of the restaurants and to return then to Meltina by public transport (bus no. 204).

 

Details

This trail starts directly at Meltina on path no. 4. Shortly afterwards you turn off on route no 10. Stay on this forest road until you reach the crossroads by the artificial water reservoir with path no. 12A. From here you can reach the road to Frassineto in a few minutes.

 

Approach
If you come by car from Brennero, take the motorway A22 until the exit “Bozen Süd”. Here you can take the highway MeBo in direction to Merano (SS38) until you reach the exit of Terlano. At Terlano begins the mountain road to Mölten.
