The hike starts with a small slope. Once you have reached a certain height, it offers a beautiful panorama of the village center, the surrounding hamlets and the farm landscape of the idyllic village. The hike runs along narrow roads and on pleasantly shady forest paths. At the highest point of the hike you find the restaurant St. Ulrich, surrounded by beautiful meadows and forests. There you will be spoiled with hearty South Tyrolean delicacies. Along the way and at the inn itself, there is much to discover for young and old.

Details

Thake from the tourist office the way nr. 13, which leads to the Wargerhof. There take the U-way and go on the forestway to the guesthous St. Ulrich, nr. 15. From St. Ulrich walk to the Roathof (Gschleier),always climb nr. 15,  and than to the athletic ground. There go to the starting point in the village Meltina.

Approach

From Munich in approximately 3,5 hours via the motorway (Rosenheim-Kufstein-Innsbruck-Brenner) until you come to the motorway exit Bozen Süd, you take the carriage way Meran-Bozen, to reach the villages Terlan take the second exit, from Terlan take the mountain road to Meltina.
