Mölten, the quiet center of the plateau “Tschögglberg” at 1,140 m altitude is one of the most beautiful landscapes in South Tyrol and invites the visitor to a relaxing holiday.

The hike from Mölten to the alp “Gschnofer Stall” offers a varied experience for young and old.The vegetation changes along the trail.

The Gschnoferstall is very quiet and well located.You can enjoy the sun on the forecourt of the cottage and for children there is a small playground and they have the possibility of getting to know some animals.The hut awaits you with delicious and typical South Tyrolean dishes that invite you to taste.

Details

If you start at Meltina you should take the hiking trail no. 4 and 6 and then the following no. 7A to arrive directly at the alpine hut “Gschnoferstall”. On your way back you can choose between the trail on which you arrived or the hiking trails no. 12, 4B and 10.

Approach
If you come by car from Brennero, take the motorway A22 until the exit “Bozen Süd”. Here you can take the highway MeBo in direction to Merano (SS38) until you reach the exit of Terlano. At Terlano begins the mountain road to Mölten.
