Start at Malga di Tarres and go to the Zirmruan hut (closed). Turn right just before the hut and follow the well-marked path to the weather cross (2.436m). Continue on the relatively flat path to Passo di Laces (2.507m) and then southwards along the crest up to 3.000m. Take the slightly exposed path along the crest to reach the peak where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding three-thousanders of the Ortler group.
