The hike starts at the Niger Pass and follows the hiking trail N° 1 to the Messnerjoch mountain hut. The alpine hut has a children’s playground and is a great destination for all families. This hike can be done in summer as well as in winter.The way back is either on the same path back or in summer you can walk on path N° 1b to the Frommeralm hut and on path N° 1a back to the Niger Pass.
