Biathlon in Martello has still a relatively young history. After the biathlon competition in 1992, for the first time were carried out, one founded soon afterwards the section biathlon within the amateurism association Martello and therefore the starting signal occurred for the active youth support. Soon appeared that the Martello population was inspired by this new sport. More and more children from the Martello valley and from the surroundings us the training offers. Motivated by the success of the younger generation one decided at the end of the 1990s on the construction of a biathlon center. Now the new biathlon center fulfils all conditions, so that the planned big events and training units can go successfully above the stage.
