Details

Starting at the Hotel Moseralm path [16] leads to the Heinzen Alm where you have to possibility to stop. From Heinzen Alm you move along the path [16] to the Niger road past the Tscheiner Hütte to the Ochsenhütte and then above the road on route [1A]. From the parking Kaiserstein path [9] leads back to the Hotel Moseralm.

 

Approach

Take highway’s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left and continue to Nova Levante, continue to Carezza/Karersee about 8,5 km until the crossroad, turn the left and continue to Tires/Tiers about 4 km. The hut Duca di Pistoia is on the right side (about 40 min. from highway toll booth).
